Rhine & Main River Cruise with Amsterdam & Cologne

Upon arrival in Munich, we will be met by our local guide who will assist us in the transfer to Nuremburg port with a guided Nuremberg city tour en-route. Let's discover this beautiful town famous for its well-preserved historical landmarks, like the imperial castle and the walled Old Town.

In the afternoon we will be transferred to Nuremberg port to join our River Cruise. Settle into our cabin and explore the range of facilities on board our ship as we embark on our 7-night cruise along the Rhine and Main. Sit back with a welcome cocktail in one of the lounge areas, followed by a tasty welcome dinner.

Today we will arrive at the German town of Bamberg, famous as on the few German towns spared destruction during World War II. Here we will explore sights such as the Old Town Hall and the Bamberg Cathedral. After our tour we will have some free time to further explore this historic town.

Today we will sail into the Würzburg surrounded by lush hills and vineyards and home to baroque Würzburg Residence. Enjoy some free time in Würzburg and visit the palace and its Court Garden to explore at our own pace or join the optional excursion to Rothenburg a beautiful medieval walled town (payable locally) 

This morning, we will arrive at picturesque town Miltenberg nestled along the banks of the Main River, where we will enjoy a guided. Miltenberg is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, especially its charming half-timbered houses, many of which date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. The town's old quarter features cobblestone streets, a scenic market square and the iconic Miltenberg Castle which overlooks the town from a wooded hillside. 

In the late afternoon we will set sail for Rüdesheim and join the Rhine river.
 

This morning, we will arrive in the romantic town of Rüdesheim, surrounded by gentle sloping vineyards and famous for its local wine, brandy and specialty. Today we will take the traditional Winzerexpress from the pier to the Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet” where a musical adventure awaits is as sit back and relax the self – playing musical instruments, after this fascinating experience we will continue onto the picturesque town of Rudesheim. Here we will explore Rüdesheim's old town, the Drosselgasse famous for its wine houses, we will continue our tour to visit the Eagle Tower along the city walls.
 

This afternoon relax on board as we set through the Rhine Gorge towards Cologne

Today we will arrive at Cologne in the early morning. Following breakfast, we will enjoy a tour to the World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Palace in Brühl. We will enjoy a guided walk through the landscaped parks and gardens between the palace and the Falkenlust hunting lodge.

This morning, we will arrive in Amsterdam, where we can enjoy a Amsterdam canal cruise Highlights will include the city’s many canals and dancing houses, its beautiful bridges, the Central Station and much more. 

After a full day in Amsterdam tonight we will enjoy the Captain’s Gala Dinner while on board the ship

It is time to say goodbye after a full week of delights aboard our ship. After breakfast, we will meet with your local guide and be transferred to Amsterdam city centre for a guided tour prior to continuing your journey to Amsterdam airport for our flight home. (Luggage will be stored in coach)
