Your Guided Group Holiday To Munich & the Black Forest
Travel with us to the setting of many a Grimm fairy-tale and birthplace of the Cuckoo Clock, Germany’s Black Forest & the magical city of Munich. Our journey begins in Munich, the largest city of Bavaria, located north of the Bavarian Alps on the banks of River Isar. We’ll enjoy a half day city tour and free time to appreciate Munich’s impressive squares, markets and world famous beer houses. Next, we’ll take a scenic train journey from Munich to the town of Karlsruhe in Southwest Germany, the base for the second half of our holiday and the perfect location from which to explore the Black Forest and its picturesque towns. From here, we’ll enjoy excursions to the 19th century spa town of Baden-Baden, the idyllic Lake Mummelsee and the “Jewel of the Black Forest”, Freiburg.
