Welcome to Greece! Upon arriving in Athens airport, we will be greeted by our friendly local guide and coach driver who will bring us to our hotel in Athens. Let’s take the rest of the day to relax, unpack and get to know our hotel and its surroundings.

This morning let’s explore the delights Athens has to offer on a half day guided city tour of Greece’s ancient capital. Let’s discover the Panathinaikos Stadium, host to the first modern Olympic Games. Of course, no visit to Athens will be complete without a visit to the breath-taking Acropolis, the world-famous ancient citadel perched on a hilltop overlooking the city. Let’s travel back in time as we explore the Parthenon, a beautiful Doric temple, and the Erechtheion, a temple dedicated to Poseidon.

Have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Athens at your own pace. Our guide will be happy to suggest places of interest to see and visit depending on your own tastes.

Today begins our cruising adventure! Today we travel from our hotel to the port to embark our Celestyal ship for our 7-night cruise. Let’s settle in onboard and get to know our ship and explore the range of facilities on-board. This evening, we will set sail for Kefalonia.

This morning, we will arrive at Kefalonia known as the largest Ionian islands, it is renowned for its natural beauty, combining forested hillsides, traditional villages, and a stunning coastline. Discover the stunning Melissani Cave with its crystal-clear underground lake or simply enjoy the relaxed pace of life at one of the island’s traditional harbours. We will be docked in Kefalonia until the later afternoon. We will set sail for Croatia tonight.

As our ship approaches Dubrovnik, the sight of its magnificent medieval walls rising from the Adriatic is truly unforgettable. We will arrive at Dubrovnik in the early afternoon, spend the day at leisure and take the opportunity to walk the ancient city walls, offering breathtaking views. Wander further into the Old Town, where a maze of cobbled streets awaits, alive with the buzz of lively cafés, atmospheric bars and welcoming restaurants. We will be docked in Dubrovnik late into the evening before we set sail to Kotor.

This morning, we will sail to Montenegro and arrive at Kotor, famous for its spectacular bay and medieval Old Town make it one of the Adriatic’s gems. Wander its cobbled streets lined with Venetian palaces, churches, and bustling cafés, all framed by dramatic mountain scenery. 

Rejoin the ship in the late afternoon as we set sail for Italy.

Wake up this morning in Bari, the capital of Italy’s Puglia region, is a lively port city with a rich history and authentic southern charm. Its historic centre, Bari Vecchia, is a maze of narrow streets filled with churches, palaces, and hidden piazzas. The city is also known for its vibrant local life, from bustling markets to traditional bakeries serving freshly made focaccia. Bari offers the perfect introduction to the culture and flavours of Puglia. Tonight, we will set sail for Corfu.

Today we will be docked in Corfu, spend the exploring the enchanting streets of Corfu Old Town, where history and charm come alive. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a blend of Venetian, French, and British influences, reflected in its architecture and narrow, winding alleyways, named kantounas with (slippery) cobblestones. Stroll through the picturesque squares and enjoy the vibrant local culture of Corfu Old town. 

Tonight we will set sail to Katakolon.

This morning, we arrive at Katakolon, a charming seaside town on the western coast of Greece, serving as the gateway to the ancient site of Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. This picturesque port blends history with laid-back coastal beauty. We will have some time at leisure here today take a stroll along its waterfront lined with cafes, tavernas, and shops. 

We will depart Katakolon in the mid afternoon and set sail for Athens.

This morning, we arrive back into Athens. Time to say goodbye to our unforgettable cruise experience. Following disembarkation, we will travel to the airport for our flight home with wonderful memories of our holiday in Greece.
