Before our transfer to Évora, our holiday will begin with a guided tour of Lisbon, where we’ll take in some of the sights of this colourful capital, including Belém Tower. Later, there will be an opportunity to socialise with your fellow travellers during your ‘Welcome drink and meal. We’ll explore the UNESCO Heritage Site of Évora on a walking tour, which has numerous monuments from various historical periods, such as the Royal Palace from the 14th century and a Roman temple. Then, sample local wines on a visit to a vineyard and on a full day excursion take a relaxing boat trip around the Alqueva lake. Finally, we’ll get a taste of the Algarve with a few nights stay in the charming town of Tavira, which is often referred to as the ‘Venice of the Algarve.’ This solo traveller break also includes plenty of leisure time to relax at your hotel or uncover other sights that suit your interests, with recommendations from our local guide.
