Sail around the Croatian Islands with us on a relaxing small cruise ship which will allow us to access the smaller ports, which are inaccessible to larger cruise liners, where we will discover the lesser known yet beautiful parts of Croatia. Our Croatian holiday will begin with a guided walking tour and free time to explore Dubrovnik. We’ll then board our small cruise ship and set sail from this historic city. Your ship accommodates up to 40 travellers, so it will be very easy to socialise and have fun as we enjoy our Croatian Islands Cruise. On this 9-night break, we’ll cruise the crystal blue waters of the Dalmatian coast, spend time relaxing on the abundance of unspoilt beaches, discover hidden gems and visit historical towns like Mijet, Split and Dubrovnik.
After arriving into Dubrovnik airport, transfer to your hotel with guide assistance. Take the rest of the day to relax and get to know your hotel and its surroundings.
This morning begin your day with a guided city tour of Dubrovnik. Known as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ this glittering seaside walled old town, with limestone paved streets and splendid baroque buildings has been fascinating visitors for centuries.
In the afternoon your cruise experience begins! After a morning exploring Dubrovnik transfer to your ship, settle into your cabin and enjoy your first lunch on board as you cruise along the Dalmatian coast. Arrive this evening at Sipan or Slano, small peaceful coastal fishing villages where you can get a flavour of local Croatian life.
Today cruise towards the island of Mljet and its national park. Explore the beautiful scenery of this tranquil island with its sparking water and shaded walking paths. (entrance payable locally) Ensure you visit the Great Lake with Isle of St Mary and its abbey located in the middle and admire the beautiful views in this little bit of Croatian paradise.
In the afternoon your ship will continue to the island of Korcula where you will have an included walking tour of Korcula old town. Surrounded by stone walls and fortified towers, marvel at the well-preserved architecture of this medieval town, the supposed birthplace of Marco Polo. Your ship will remain docked in Korcula overnight.
This morning cruise to the little island of Bisevo and where you will have the opportunity to visit the Blue Cave. (at an additional cost & subject to weather conditions) Here the sunlight reflects off the white limestone and fills the grotto with an ethereal blue glow. In the afternoon, cruise to Vis. A former military base closed to the public, Vis has retained its small old town charm and authenticity. During your overnight stay here, you can visit the ruins of the ancient Roman thermal palace or else simply take a walk along the waterfront and soak in the Mediterranean atmosphere from a local bar or restaurant.
After a morning cruising the Adriatic Sea and a short stop at the island of Scedro, arrive this afternoon at the island of Hvar, known for its magnificent Renaissance cathedral and lively atmosphere. Enjoy an included walking tour of this small bay town where 13th century walls and a fortress surround elegant Venetian style buildings and pedestrianised marble streets. Your ship will remain docked in Hvar overnight.
This morning you will arrive at the island of Brac and the town of Bol, known for its Golden Horn beach which changes it shape depending on the winds and the current. Stop here for a swim and to admire the glittering water before continuing to Makarska where you can explore its beaches, old 17th century town and lively waterfront promenade.
Dock this morning in Pucisca, on the northern side of Brac island, home to the famous white limestone of Brac. Here you can have the opportunity to join an optional tour to visit one of the few stone masonry workshops left in Europe. In the afternoon, sail to the picteresque town of Omis. Once the home to pirates, it is now a lively beach resort, overlooked by a small castle. Tonight, you will have a Captain’s dinner included on board.
