On our coach and walking tour of Belfast, we’ll see the city’s main attractions, uncover more of its fascinating history and soak up the magical atmosphere. When we check into our hotel, we’ll be treated with mulled wine and delicious mince pies to truly get us into the festive spirit! On Christmas Day, we can simply relax and enjoy our delightful festive lunch and dinner and let someone else be responsible for all the cooking and preparations! On Saint Stephen’s Day, we’ll enjoy a visit to the Botanic Gardens, where we get some fresh air and admire the impressive Victorian structure.     Travel to Belfast

    Join us and meet with our driver in Dublin city centre this morning for our three-night Christmas trip to Belfast.

    Details of pick up point in Dublin and final timing will be advised closer to departure date. Estimated start time is 09:30am.

    Travelling by coach, we make our way to Belfast.

    Guided Tour of Belfast City

    On arrival we will have some free time for lunch at leisure before meeting our local guide for a short walking tour followed by a panoramic city tour discovering the city’s highlights. We will take in the Albert Memorial Clock Tower, one of Belfast’s best-known landmarks and Ireland’s answer to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Grand Opera House, City Hall, The Crown Bar and the Botanic Gardens. Our tour will also take in Harland & Wolfe Shipyard, where the Titanic was built in 1912 before our final visit of the day to the Shankill & Falls Road.

    After our tour ends, we’ll enjoy a festive mulled wine & mince pies reception as we check in to our hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to further explore the city and do some shopping.

    Tonight, join us for a pre-dinner toast before sitting down to our Christmas Eve dinner.

    Breakfast and dinner at our hotel are included every day during the stay.

    Visit Belfast Botanic Gardens

    After breakfast meet our coach driver, where we will visit the Botanic Gardens, an important part of Belfast’s Victorian heritage and home to mature gardens, tropical plants and trees.  Take some time to enjoy the fresh air and all the gardens have to offer before we return to our hotel.  (Should a visit to the Gardens not be possible due inclement weather a scenic drive along the Antrim Coast will be arranged instead)

    Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to further explore the city, before we get together again to continue the Christmas celebrations with a Festive Afternoon Tea in our hotel.

    Depart for Dublin

    After breakfast, check out from our hotel and depart for Dublin’s fair city. Arrive back to Dublin in the afternoon and say goodbye to our new friends, with fond memories of Christmas in Belfast.
