Travel Advice

Coronavirus – Updates for our customers.

We are experiencing a very high level of calls and emails. Please bear with us whilst we prioritise those who were due to travel in the next 14 days. We are working very hard to contact customers and doing this in date order. If you are due to travel in April or beyond, we will be in contact as soon as we can.

Please note that due to the latest government advice that our physical office is now closed but we are still operating remotely. If you have sent any documentation by post to our offices, we will not be in a position to action this until the restrictions are lifted. You can of course continue to contact us by phone or email.

Travel Department is a tour operator and because we create the holidays that we sell, we have significant expertise available to us. We stay completely up to date on all events and are following the situations in as close to real time as possible which means that we are ready to update our customers on anything they need to know.

I have already booked a Holiday and would like to know if it will be impacted?

The situation is very fluid and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice is changing very rapidly. The FCO is currently advising against all but essential international travel. 

If you are due to travel in April and May please bear with us as we are working in date order and will be in touch with you as soon as we can.

I am concerned. Can I cancel my holiday?

Travel Department is a responsible tour operator and we will always follow the advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and will cancel holidays accordingly.  We will then contact customers with options and we are currently contacting customers in date of departure order. 

Presently, we are reviewing all our tours in April and May. If you choose to cancel or change a holiday departing later in the year, our standard booking Terms and Conditions currently apply.
