View Dates & Prices

Known as the 'city of the seven hills,' Lisbon has a unique look and personality, making it one of Europe's most attractive capitals. Our tours offer 7 nights stays in the lovely resorts of Cascais or Estoril, each located just half an hour away from the city.

In Lisbon, learn about Portugal's remarkable maritime history at the Belem Tower, which sits on the shores of the River Tejo. For spectacular views, take a ride in the famous Elevador de Santa Justa in the Baixa district, and have fun exploring the colourful backstreets of the Moorish influenced Alfama, almost a village in itself.

During this great 7-night holiday, you will also visit the hilltop town of Sintra, famed for its fairytale castle and palaces, as well as medieval Óbidos and the traditional fishing village of Nazaré, set on a coastline of rugged dunes and sandy beaches.

 * Please note for the 10th of October group the hotel is located in Cascais, instead of Estoril

Coach transfer to and from Belfast (Glengall Street) to Dublin Airport on selected dates.

Holiday highlights

Alfama

Alfama is the oldest quarter of Lisbon. It is nice to wander through the winding streets and soak up the atmosphere, stopping off for a drink or a spot of shopping in one of the many gift shops. The area also retains a largely traditional life, and as you wind through the alleys you will pass many locals sitting on the doorsteps gossiping and watching the world go by.

The Belem Tower
This tower is to Lisbon what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris or Big Ben is to London. It is the city's most photographed landmark, which along with the marvellous Jerónimos Monastery, should top your list of must-see monuments.
Estoril Casino & Gardens
The Estoril Casino is the largest in Europe. There is a great deal of entertainment here, including different types of gambling, and nightly cabaret and music hall shows in a sophisticated atmosphere. Apart from the main activities of the casino, there is also an art gallery where a variety of art exhibitions are held, particularly of modern painting and sculpture.
