Turkey Visa

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING YOUR TOURIST VISA

All passengers travelling to Turkey are required to complete an online form used to screen passengers under the Visa Waiver Program. This is called an e-visa - Electronic Visa Application System.

The Visa Waiver Program enables citizens of participating countries to travel to Turkey for tourism, business or transit purposes for 6 months from the day they enter Turkey without obtaining a Turkish visa.

The purpose of an e-visa is to speed up the process at airports and it is essentially an electronic version of the form previously completed at immigration. Passengers will not be allowed to board a flight or cruise to Turkey without having successfully completed e-visa online.

Passengers may apply for authorization via e-visa at any time prior travelling to Turkey, but are encouraged to do so at least 72 hours before travelling. A fee of $20 US dollars applies. All passengers are required to present a printed copy of the authorisation to Customs and Border Protection.

Option 1 – Apply online on the official Turkish Immigration website

Passengers can apply for an e-visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr/en/                                                                                                                           

For those who choose to apply for their visa independently, Travel Department accepts no responsibility for delays caused by incorrect supply of information and/or delays in obtaining sufficient information. The responsibility lies solely with the customer to supply the correct information on time in order to obtain a valid visa for travel. Travel Department accepts no liability for any issues encountered by customers who do not obtain a visa in time for their holiday. Customers may be refused entry into their destination if a complete and correct visa application is not processed in time.

Information:

-       The fee for an British or Irish passport holder is £35 per person.

-       For all other nationalities prices may vary, please contact the Visa First office for a quotation.

-       Processing time – 10 working days.

Visa First require the following items to be sent by email or post.

-       The completed Visa First order form.

-       A copy of your passport, valid for at least 6 months beyond the expiry date of the requested visa.

-       Fee

Visa fees can be subject to change.

Travel Department will not be held responsible for the loss of or damage to any document sent by post to Visa First. We strongly recommend you use registered post when sending valuable documents.

Please note that visa applications to be processed by Visa First should reach their office at least 15 working days before departure.
