HR / Office Manager - After toying with a career in either fitness or floristry, Alison decided the travel industry was where she wanted to work. She joined Travel Department in 2007. Initially she spent 4 and a half years in the Marketing Department and following that moved into a completely different area of the business, Human Resources. Alison is now the HR / Office Manager and really enjoys the day-to-day interaction with staff members. It is an extremely varied role which means every day is different.
Alison has been working in the travel industry since 2000. Prior to that she worked in a family haulage business with some travelling and temping roles in between.
She has travelled a lot to places such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada, the USA and also various countries and cities in Europe. Alison’s favourite place would be Canada. The country has so much to offer its visitors, from the bustling melting pot Toronto to the serenity and peace of cottage country, it is a place everyone should visit at least once!
